Dear Fellow Tenants,

I hope this message finds you well. As we continue to enhance our community spaces, I'd like to propose an exciting addition to our rooftop room - a boxing punching bag!

Here are a few reasons why I believe this would be a fantastic idea:

Release Stress and Stay Active: With the hustle and bustle of daily life, having a punching bag provides a great outlet to release stress and stay active. It's a fun way to blow off steam after a long day and get a good workout in.

Variety in Recreation: While our rooftop room already boasts a ping pong table, adding a punching bag would offer another option for recreational activities. It's all about providing variety and catering to different interests among our tenants.

Community Bonding: Boxing can be a social activity too! Imagine the camaraderie and friendly competitions that could arise as we take turns using the punching bag. It's a fantastic opportunity to bond with fellow tenants and build a stronger sense of community.

Space Flexibility: Despite the limited space, both the ping pong table and the punching bag can coexist harmoniously. They're easily movable items, allowing us to rearrange the room as needed to accommodate various activities and preferences.

Let's come together and make our rooftop room an even more inviting and dynamic space for everyone to enjoy. Your feedback and support are greatly appreciated!

Hello everybody :)

I'd like to do a quick follow-up on this topic. Thank you so much for the involvement but let's bump it up a notch.

So far we've mostly had ideas on what can be inside the room but two of my other questions have been completely left out. Most popular ideas involve some gym equipment and some universal table that can be used mostly for table tennis.

Anyway, let's discuss the other topics:

How will the room look like?

Who will take care of this room? (Mostly cleaning and organisation/usage of the room)

Keep in mind that this is intended to be YOUR project, we are just here to help you with organisation and resources. This, apart from other things, means that we will not take care of the cleaning of this room or make any reservation handling through the app.

In regards to involvement, we would need slightly more people to join in on the project. We would appreciate if numbers would come a bit closer to the 50% mark of the total tenant number.

We'd also be interested to host an online meeting with free access for everybody on which we can discuss this more thoroughly. This will probably happen in the next few weeks and you will be informed through aaThreads about it :)

Now that we've got the introduction out of the way, let's see what we can actually do with this room.

Like we've mentioned, the idea is that we work together on this. We will try to provide the tools to make it happen but we would like that the ideas and involvement is coming from you, since in the end this will be a place for you to use ;)

To get the ball rolling, these are the main points that we'd currently want to discuss:

• - What can the room be used for
• - How will the room look? (What is the equipment and/or decoration that we can put inside)
• - Who will take care of the room (maintenance/cleaning)

Keep in mind that we want the room to be as universal as possible but still be within certain limits. For example, we can't just fill it with gym equipment that will take the whole space but what we can do, is put some dumbbells next to the yoga mats and on the other side a table tennis. I know that somebody is not going to do yoga while the sound of rackets slamming the ball is echoing through the room, but you get the point ;) we need to make it accessible for different types of people.

The discussion will be held here on aaThreads. Of course we can't prohibit you to use the WhatsApp group for internal communication but please know that only suggestions that are posted here will be taken into consideration. As for the way it will work, we don't really mind - you can either comment on this post but also can make other posts within this thread. We will try to read all of the comments and take notes of what comes up often.

Based on the involvement, we will try to potentially organise a meeting where we can discuss some more concrete ideas :)

Hey people, Alex here :)

Now that I've got your attention, let me present the new public space to you.

It is one of the rooms located on the rooftop of the EMIL building. For better orientation, you can check the picture of the rooftop plan and also the pictures of the room itself.

As of recently, all of the tenants have the access to the digital key that opens this room so feel free to check it out yourself and think how we, but more importantly you, can make the most out of it ;)
